Issue - PINPAD ONLY PROMPTS FOR SWIPE OR TAP OPTIONS
Cause - Pinpad is not connecting to the Shift4 API pipeline properly.
Resolution - Open Shift4 UTG Tune Up and check the serial number is in the express tab and is the correct number as the UTG configuration shows. Next navigate to the devices tab and edit the pinpad. On the right side of the device panel ensure the serial number is the same as it shows in the express tab. If the issue still persist, navigate to C:\Shift4\EMV\ and delete the EMV files and call shift4 to get a serial number reset. Once Shift4 resets the serial number associated with the slot number you can open UTG Stand Alone and device download. Next navigate back to the EMV folder and see if the EMV files populate back after the download.
